Peter Tonon joined Mainstreet in January 2000, after spending 14 years with Chesterton Binswanger as Managing Director for Investment. There, he was responsible for directing the disposition of over $400M of investment real estate for both institutional and non-institutional clients. He was also instrumental in structuring a number of sale leasebacks with corporate clients, and also developed the firm’s joint ventures in South America.

Currently Mr. Tonon oversees the North and South Carolina region and has primary responsibility for managing Mainstreet's capital relationships. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
